I started this project at the start of July '25, it's currently unfinished. I used effects such as data-moshing (A process where you remove the I and P frames in a video to only preserve motion frames, where the computer then keeps the motion of pixels but the colour of the pixels themselves stay the same) and other effects within AfterEffects (e.g card dance). I used plugins such as BCC and Sapphire for effects like s_lumadissolve and s_distortchroma. The idea of manipulation of video has always been interesting to me, so I decided to try out some more serious editing by changing real time data from video files.
All footage was found on YouTube here -> It's Still Here - Jason Isip
This was a little music video I made because my friend had been tasked with filming one for her Media GCSE, so I filmed it and decided to edit it for fun. I used AfterEffects and lots of media from pop culture references such as the Domo face. This was a fun project for me, as editing and filming music videos are something I would love to do when I am older. I took massive inspirations from the style Feng uses to edit his music videos, and I wanted to emulate that to as full an extent as I could.
All footage was recorded by me on an Iphone 5s.
The song is Metamorphosis - Feng.
Whilst this one is technically mostly blender, I'll still put it here for now until I make more stuff using blender (as this is my first time actually creating something using the software alone)
This is a short render of a scene I composed using Blender to composite a dry landscape with some sort of character in front. I wasn't really going for anything particular in this scene, apart from really liking the start of Bladerunner 2042 and trying to create something similar. I used some free models from sites like SketchFab, but the land and trees were hand modelled. I used heavy volumetric lighting to create the atmosphere of dust, and I think overall it turned out pretty good, even though 3d isn't really my forte yet.
I used a mixture of AfterEffects (for final colour grading, even though I should have probably used Davinci Resolve) and Blender (for scene composition, volumetric lighting and camera work)
